Star Wars - Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker teaser is released

Star Wars - Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker teaser has been released at Star Wars Celebration, with it is the reveal of the title to the last film in the sequel trilogy and the Skywalker saga. It will be released in theaters this christmas.

"We've passed down all we know. A thousand generations live in you now, but this is your fight". Luke (his Force ghost probably) speaks to Rey. She is on a sand planet! Tatooine? She readies for a threat coming her way. She grabs her lightsaber, as a tie fighter can be heard in the distance.

"Every generation has a legend". Its is Kylo Ren's tie fighter bearning new read markings flying fast and low. Rey runs away, then jumps in a backflip motion with her blade about to hit the tie fighter.

"This Christmas". A-Wing, mysterious city, Kylo Ren slicing through someone, First Order stormtroopers, Kylo Ren welding is mask back together, Finn and Poe Dameron being cool in the desert, BB-8 and a new robot on wheel, Chewbacca piloting, Lando Calrissian laughing, Millenium Falcon jumping out of lightspeed.

"The saga comes to and end". Explosion in the sand, moisture farm, speeding sand barge, C-3PO, Leia.

"We'll always be with you". Group shot of Chewie, BB-8, new robot, C-3PO, Rey, Poe and Finn, all looking into the distance... Reveal of a massive piece of a Death Star crashed in the distance, it is the dish part, but there is water! It cannot be Tatooine, or is it?

"No one is ever really gone". Is that Snoke laughing?!! No! It cannot be! Emperor Palpatine!!!

"STAR WARS - THE RISE OF SKYWALKER" - DECEMBER.

Ian McDiarmid, who played Emperor Palpatine in the prequels and Return of the Jedi, appeared on stage at Star Wars Celebration after the trailer had finished. Along with Billie Dee Williams, Carrie Fisher, and Anthony Daniels we have 4 original trilogy cast members in this film.

Fisher's scenes were shot during The Force Awakens and used in this film with the approval of her daughter Billie Lourd.
